コルドバ郊外マディーナ・アッザフラー（Medina Azahara）の発掘に従事してこられたドイツ考古学研究所のアーノルト（Felix Arnold）氏による報告も含まれています。ご関心のある方はぜひご参加ください。

We are pleased to announce an international conference organized under the Joint Research Project, "The Mediterranean as a Connecting Sea."
We look forward to your participation.

Overview:
From antiquity to the present day, the Mediterranean Sea has connected the regions along its coasts and facilitated the movement of people, goods, ideas, and information. The networks formed by this maritime space were dynamic rather than static, shaped by the states and societies that controlled its shores and beyond. Their interactions fostered historical and regional diversity, yet at times sparked tensions and conflicts; nevertheless, in a broader context, they cultivated interwoven and interrelated ties across this maritime realm, which has long served as an agora of cultural exchange, often referred to as the "Mediterranean world."

As part of the International Joint Research Project, "The Mediterranean as a Connecting Sea," initiated in 2022, we have delved into these multifaceted connections to uncover their historical and contemporary significance. To further this exploration, we are pleased to announce an international conference, which will be held as detailed below:
